Environmental issues
As a manufacturer of electronic equipment, Neurobit Systems is aware of its role in efforts for preservation of the environment and human health. Our activity is aligned with the most recent environmental directives of European Community and other “green” policies.
Limiting content of hazardous substances in electronic devices, reducing their power consumption, and participating in the system of separate waste collection of electronic equipment we contribute to reduction of negative impact of human being on the environment and to rational utilization of natural resources.

Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
One of world-leading environmental regulations relating to electric and electronic equipment is 2011/65/EU Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS 2). Among other things, the restrictions relate to lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium – common substances in electronic equipment not long ago.
Neurobit Systems took comprehensive actions to obey the environmental law by adjusting our product designs, supply chain and production process. As a result, our equipment is manufactured relying on lead-free technology and using components free of restricted substances.
Energy conservation
The multitude of electric and electronic equipment is increasing quickly, and the complexity of their functions is also growing. In the face of limited energetic resources, as well as because of carbon dioxide and other pollution emission connected with production of energy, its conservation gets more and more attention.
In our products we apply the most recent technological solutions rising efficiency of energy utilization, enabling devices to work with very low power consumption. For portable equipment, at the same time it means significant extension of work without battery replacement.
Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Another key environmental regulation is 2012/19/EU Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE 2).
The main goal of the directive is elimination of WEEE from municipal waste to avoid environmental pollution with substances (especially heavy metals) contained in the equipment. Additional goals are closed production cycle including recycling and growing ecological awareness of manufacturers, sellers and consumers.
Neurobit Systems products falling under the regulation are marked with a crossed out wheelie bin (on a device or in an instruction manual). It means, that at the end-of-life stage the waste of the product should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste, but it is the subject to separate collection and recycling. As a manufacturer of electronic devices we participate organizationally and financially in these processes.
Information for users in private households
We can avoid potential effects on the environment and human health as a result of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment by separate collection of waste.
WEEE cannot be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste, their collection must be done separately.
Household users can dispose of their WEEE free of charge at the appropriate collection points.
Addresses of collection points are made available by local authorities on their websites and in their offices.
European Community citizens buying a new device can dispose of the old one of the same category at seller's site. Please ask a seller for details.
