Alpha-Theta protocol
Alpha-theta crossover protocol supports visualization, meditation, enhanced creativity and performance, to name a few. Similar training is often used for recovery from trauma and addictions as well.
New session view is introduced for this protocol, with two bar indicators simultaneously on the screen, one for alpha (8-11 Hz) relative level and the other for theta (in 5.5-8 Hz band). Current digital values are displayed on the right of the bars.
Sound feedback for this protocol is also extended: theta component is connected with one instrument (selected in Sound/Instrument menu) and alpha is signaled with another one (voice in the menu after that selected for theta). Instrument connected with currently dominant component is playing. For scale "Limits" an intermediate note is played, when dominant component is changing.
The default setting of Sound/Direction for this protocol is "Downward".
Depth protocol
High theta band (6-9 Hz) protocol for closed eyes. It promote mind/body integration, self-regulation and well-being. The protocol can also be helpful in classical meditation.
The default setting of Sound/Direction for this protocol is "Downward".
Both new protocols are protected against shift to lower frequency (3-5.5 Hz) theta waves, which could cause drowsiness. When such waves are becoming too high, warning signal is generated.
Frequency band of Relax protocol has been changed (from 8-12 Hz) to 8-11 Hz.
(Results reached for this protocol may now be a little lower in practice.)
Artifact signalization with device's buzzer has been corrected for measurements transparently transmitted to PC.
Session result is now stored also if the device is turned off during session pause.
From this version, there are separate firmware files for different languages.
